Order and shipping
How long does delivery take?
Most orders are produced and delivered within 5–6 business days. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on your location and product type.
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
No. All orders are produced locally, meaning customers in the EU, USA, and UK will not be charged customs duties or import fees.
Where are the artworks produced?
Each artwork is produced on demand by one of our local production partners. This allows us to reduce delivery times, shipping distances, and environmental impact.
Materials & Quality
What paper is used for posters?
Our posters are printed on heavyweight 200 gsm semi-gloss paper, offering rich colors, sharp detail, and minimal glare.
Are framed posters protected?
Yes. Framed posters are mounted behind clear, shatterproof plexiglass to ensure long-term protection and safe delivery.
What type of frames do you use?
Our posters are framed in black durable wooden frames with a slim, modern profile (approx. 20–25 mm). These frames are designed to keep the focus on the artwork, rather than the frame itself.
Canvas & Metal Prints
Are canvas prints ready to hang?
Yes. All canvas artworks arrive fully assembled and ready to hang.
What is metal art?
Metal art is printed directly onto high-quality DIBOND aluminum, resulting in a sleek, modern finish with vibrant colors and exceptional depth.
Sustainability
Is the production eco-friendly?
Yes. We use FSC-certified paper and frames, and produce locally whenever possible to reduce CO₂ emissions.
Returns & Issues
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your artwork arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@houseofprints.art
Can I return my order?
Because each artwork is produced on demand, we do not accept returns for change of mind. However, we are always happy to assist if there is an issue with your order.
Payments
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major payment methods, including iDEAL, SHOP, Apple Pay, credit cards, Klarna and PayPal via Shopify Payments.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are processed securely through Shopify’s encrypted checkout system. We never store your payment details.
Can I pay in my local currency?
Yes. Prices are displayed and charged in your local currency where supported.
